Spotlight on all things entrepreneurial during Tipperary Enterprise Week

Tipperary’s first Enterprise Week is fast approaching. During the week of 18 to 22 May the County will host a series of events aimed at stimulating business growth and new business creation to drive economic prosperity. A programme of over 20 events offers something for everyone, regardless of whether you want to develop a business idea, start a business or grow your existing enterprise.

Guest speakers and industry experts will offer insights into all aspects of business at seminars and events across Tipperary. You can network with like-minded local business people and share knowledge with other entrepreneurs. As well as a myriad of events taking place across the County, there are five key events. “Who to Talk to” is an information event designed to inspire and encourage individuals considering self employment in all sectors and to inform new and existing business promoters about supports available for business creation and development. This will take place in two locations, Clonmel on Monday 18 May and Roscrea Thursday 21 May. An Economic and Funding Breakfast Seminar has been organised to give local businesses an insight into how national and international economics impacts on their business and will take place in Thurles on Friday 22 May. An exciting event for retailers in the County aimed at supporting an enhanced retail landscape will take place in Nenagh on Wednesday 20 May with an event dedicated to Tourism in Cahir on Tuesday 19 May.

Tipperary Enterprise Week is an initiative of Tipperary County Council in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland, The Education & Training Board, LIT, Local Development Companies, Teagasc and the Local Enterprise Office. Tipperary Enterprise Week runs from Monday 18 May until Friday 22 May..
